At BOLIM RC CUSTOMS, we strive to provide a seamless shopping experience for customers worldwide. Please read the following information carefully before placing your order.
Return Period
We offer a 14-day return policy from the date you receive your item. This applies to all customers worldwide.
Before Returning an Item
To initiate a return or exchange, please contact us first at brunoamlopes@hotmail.com before sending any items back. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
Eligibility
Items must be in the same condition you received them — unworn, unused, and free from damage or alterations. Any tags, labels, or accessories included with the product must also be returned.
Return Shipping Costs
Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping, unless the item received is defective or incorrect.
In cases of our error, we will provide a prepaid return label or reimburse the return shipping cost.
Restocking Fee
For standard products (non-custom, non-resin items) returned in resalable condition, a 15% restocking fee applies to cover the actual costs we incur, including new packaging materials (boxes, bubble wrap, protective materials), shipping and handling to process the return, product inspection and quality verification, and inventory management.
The restocking fee applies to:
- Items opened or handled beyond what is necessary to verify their nature and characteristics
- Returns initiated for reasons other than defects or shipping errors
The restocking fee does NOT apply to:
- Defective or damaged items
- Incorrect items sent by our error
- Custom-made or handcrafted resin products (already non-returnable under our policy)
The fee will be deducted from your total refund amount. For example, a €100 product return will result in an €85 refund (€100 - €15 restocking fee).

International Returns - Customs Declaration
For customers returning items from outside the European Union:
You are responsible for correctly completing the customs declaration form on the return package.
Required information on customs forms:
- Mark the package as "RETURNED GOODS" or "RETURN"
- Declare the actual value of the items being returned
- Include the original order number (found in your order confirmation email or account order history)
Failure to properly declare the package as a return may result in customs fees being charged to us upon receipt. In such cases, these fees will be deducted from your refund amount.
Returns must be sent to the address we provide. Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.
Damages & Issues
Inspect your order upon reception. Contact us immediately if an item is defective, damaged, or incorrect. We will evaluate and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Non-Returnable Items
Certain items cannot be returned, including:
- Custom-made, personalized, or 3D-printed products
- Used or modified products
- Perishable goods
- Hazardous materials or flammable liquids
- Gift cards
Exchanges
To exchange an item, return the original item and place a separate order for the new one.
Used and Discontinued Items
All used, discontinued, or clearance items are sold as-is and are not eligible for returns, refunds, or exchanges, except when the item arrives with defects not described or shown in the listing.
HANDCRAFTED & LIMITED PRODUCTION ITEMS
All BOLIM RC Customs resin parts are individually handcrafted using a single production machine with extremely limited stock capacity.
Due to the artisanal nature, very low production capacity, and niche-specific application of these products, they are NOT eligible for standard returns or refunds.
This exemption is based on EU Directive 2011/83/EU Article 16(c) for bespoke/artisanal goods.
Exceptions:
- Manufacturing defects verified by photographic evidence
- Shipping damage verified by photographic evidence
In these cases, contact us within 7 days of receipt with photos for assessment.
For all other products (non-resin items), our standard return policy applies.
International Shipments to the United States — Prepaid Duties (Zonos)
For shipments to the United States, customs duties and import taxes are prepaid by BOLIM RC CUSTOMS via Zonos Prepay, in compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) requirements.
The following costs are non-refundable under any circumstances:
- Original outbound shipping costs
- Prepaid customs duties and Zonos service fees
These costs are non-refundable in cases of:
- Unclaimed parcels (not collected by the recipient)
- Refused delivery
- Incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer
- Return initiated after the parcel has cleared U.S. customs
Refund calculation for U.S. returns: The refund amount will be calculated as follows: product price, minus original shipping cost, minus prepaid customs duties and Zonos service fees, minus the applicable restocking fee (15% for standard items). These deductions reflect actual non-recoverable costs incurred by BOLIM RC CUSTOMS.
If a shipment is cancelled before dispatch, a full refund including duties may be possible. Contact us immediately at brunoamlopes@hotmail.com.
Reshipment of Returned U.S. Orders
In cases where a parcel is returned due to non-collection, refused delivery, or an incorrect address, the customer may request reshipment. Reshipment is only possible upon full prepayment of a new shipping fee and new applicable customs duties via Zonos Prepay. BOLIM RC CUSTOMS bears no responsibility for the item during return transit. If the customer does not request reshipment within 14 days of notification, the order will be permanently closed with no refund issued.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of approval.
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.
Bank processing times may vary. If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved, please contact us.
If a returned item arrives damaged, altered, or not in the required condition, we reserve the right to refuse the refund, issue a partial refund, or deduct damages from the refund amount.
